Alfred's Steakhouse Annual Wine Event

Every year, San Francisco's Alfred's Steakhouse throws a party in their basement. This "party" started out back in the 70's (I think) but was held in the Presideo. Old skoolers from all over SF would get together in the bunkers of the Presideo and throw a party where they all shared their wines and brought food and good times. But the party was technically illegal as was on government property, so they had to relocate the party elsewhere. Now thrown in the basement of Alfred's. Some of the wines are absolutely amazing - tried a red wine from 1968!
